Naibu Rais Rigathi Gachagua amesema kuwa hivi karibuni atabuni kamati ya washikadau mbalimbali itakayojumuisha magavana wa ukanda wa pwani ili kujadili mbinu za kukabili uraibu wa dawa za kulevya katika ukanda huo.
Akizungumza katika kaunti ya kilifi, Gachagua ameeleza kuwa uraibu na uuzaji wa dawa hizo umekithiri katika eneo hilo hali inayowaharibia maiha vijana wengi huku akiwaomba viongozi wa dini kuingilia kati pia na kuwapa ushauri nasaha vijana katika ukanda huo.
Kuhusiana na suala la elimu, Gachagua amesema kuwa serikali itaendelea kusaidia taasisi za elimu nchini kwa matokeo bora.
